If you practice ""Tibetan Methods" you "Must" follow the rules and regulations of the Tibetan Tradition.
Tibetan Masters are "reminding" people to follow strictly the requirements.
"Buddha" gives out 84,000 methods for you to "Choose" ------ it is like shopping in the supermarket, if you don't like (or against) "Kuan Ding", you can buy those methods not requiring "Kuan Ding)......
Just like if you live in China, you must follow Chinese laws.
If you live in Canada, you don't need to follow Chinese laws, but you must follow Canadian laws......
