"Real teaching" is not a matter of language, it is a matter of:
"The false teaching is in 10,000 volumes of books, the REAL teaching is just a matter of ONE WORD......."
You don't even need to understand the "ONE WORD".....A teacher can say "ONE WORD" to a person of another language......(no translation required)
It is not a problem !!
It is called the very ancient tradition of
"Oral teaching and transmission from the heart !!"
(Kou Chuen Xin Sau -passing it out from the mouth and giving it from the heart !!)
Example, Mr. Buddha has a famous case:
He said "I have the Right METHOD (fa) and treasure in the EYES (with/without eye glasses) , a wonderful HEART transmission for enlightenment; the Genuine matter has no outer appearance....it is going to be taught outside of the sect of a school........It pointed directly to the HEART, for realization of true nature and instantly become a Buddha.... no word is being written ..."
Of course, the smarty student "Kar Yip" was holding a "flower" smiling slightly , and the whole transmission of the advanced teaching was "Completed".....
5000 students left and complained that Mr. Buddha was "cheating".......
It is very very famous.....
Of course, we have contemporary version too !!!
But, you need to watch out, it comes and goes very quickly and "No more boat to ride after you passed the town of Suzhou !!"
Of course, much more modern people were complaining of "cheating"......and left.....It was not too long ago !!!......and still.........
