回帖：The "Great Way (Dao)" has no name. Buddism in a billion years ago was not called Buddism.

A name is being imposed by human being, as Buddism (Budda), Daoism(Daoist), Zhen (Right) Qi ( Confucius), Hao Qi (Muncius).....etc.

Even "Kwan Yin" has 52 manifestations(appearances)!!!

Whybother with what name it is called ?

Itexisits as long as the universe !

Why quantify/quality ?

According toBuddists, "Buddhism is everywhere, wisdom is even contained in a yellow flower !"

Dr. Yan repeately said, don't differentiate the schools(the doors and the sects), don't look down on any method, don't "label" any one....

"An enlighte nedmonk would not try to compete with an advanced Daoists. An advanc Daoist won't be jealous of an enlightened monk."

The correct attitude toward a teaching and a teacher is to respect and learn from everyone big or smallin your daily life, with great Dao De and mercy in your heart, mind, and behavior.

"Treat everything/everone as your teacher" !

"Don't claim your method as the biggest method, the best method !!"

"Don't claim your teacher to be the number one and the only one !!"

Great teaching always has a long lineage from many teachers of generations whatever name it might be under.

Teachers are everywhere !

Otherwise, you are not just missing the Budda, the teachers, but yourself.

The Budda does not lives elsewhere butin everyone's"Heart".

"For those who know, don't talk. For those who talk , who don't know !"
